Other Ways to Give
There are many ways you can support ANZMES Charitable Trust: whether through Payroll Giving, donating your Annual Tax Credit back to ANZMES, leaving a legacy in your Will, or contributing via our Givealittle page. You are also welcome to use the FREE, no‑obligation Will Service provided by Gathered Here, regardless of whether you choose to leave a bequest to ANZMES. Follow the link below to learn more.
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving allows you to donate directly from your wages to ANZMES. It’s simple, automatic, and you receive your tax credit immediately rather than waiting until year‑end.
Ask your employer or payer if they offer a Payroll Giving scheme and if they do let them know how much you want to donate, when you want to donate and our information below. Your employer then deducts the donation from your pay and forwards the donation to ANZMES. You don’t have to worry about holding on to receipts each year and making rebate claims.
If you are a Spark employee contact your HR department to find out how to set up a regular payroll gift to us.
For donations of $5 or more, you receive a third of the donation amount as an immediate tax rebate.

Annual Tax Credit
Annual Tax Credit
You can claim back 33.3% of your charitable donations each year — and many supporters choose to donate that rebate back to ANZMES.
Because ANZMES is a Registered Charity you can claim a 33.3% tax rebate for your charitable donations over $5 and you can also choose to donate that rebate on to us!
Just log in to your secure Inland Revenue online service, myIR, and upload the donation receipts you received from us online at any time. Inland Revenue will then automatically calculate the credit and pay it into the bank account you have provided them with. To make it easy, you can provide them with our bank account for the rebate to come directly to us.
So you do not have to complete a paper form at the end of the tax year!
We would love to thank you and acknowledge your donation, so please email info@anzmes.org.nz to advise us of your donation.
Legacy Free Will Service
We partner with Gathered Here, a free online Will service, making it easy for you to leave a legacy for your loved ones. You may also choose to leave a gift to ANZMES that will support people with ME for generations to come. Bequests pledged in the past fund our services today — and gifts pledged now will sustain our work tomorrow. ANZMES was blessed with bequests from Elizabeth Purves towards achieving our mandate and from Kathy Folley towards specialist fees for those experiencing financial hardship.

🎁 Special Ways to Give
Gift to Celebrate
Mark your birthday, anniversary, or wedding by inviting loved ones to donate to ANZMES in lieu of gifts. Your celebration can create meaningful change for people living with ME and associated conditions. Plan a celebration gift.
Gift in Honour of your Loved One
When you make a donation, you can choose to honour your loved one whether they are living with ME or caring for someone with ME. Simply add their name in the designated space on our donation form.
If you provide their email address, we will send a special message to them, letting them know that a loved one (insert name or anonymous, depending on donor’s wishes) has donated in honour of their journey. This message will highlight the support and love that surrounds them, and reassures them that you and our organisation are with them every step of the way.
Gift in Memory
Honour someone special by asking friends and whānau to donate in their memory. We can provide envelopes for private donations at a funeral or tangi, and you can deposit the full sum to ANZMES in tribute. Contact us if you’d like to honour your loved one’s memory in this special way.
Gift Just Because
One‑off or regular donations help ensure people with ME and associated conditions receive support throughout their journey. Make a ‘just because’ donation.
